Jim Huffnagle, MD, is a former medical professional based in Tennessee. He earned his MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1989, completing the foundation for a career dedicated to family medicine and patient care. Following medical school, Jim Huffnagle, MD, completed a family medicine residency at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
He became board-certified in family medicine and developed experience in a broad range of clinical responsibilities. His residency training emphasized comprehensive medical care, leadership in teaching environments, and the integration of medical education with hands-on patient treatment.
Throughout the early 2000s, Dr. Jim Huffnagle held several leadership roles in healthcare organizations. He served as medical director for the Dickson County Nursing Home and later as medical director of the Generations Unit at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee, where he focused on the medical care of elderly patients in a neuropsychiatric setting. After decades of clinical service and leadership in health care, Dr. Huffnagle retired his three state medical licenses and ended his practice of medicine in 2023, having achieved many personal and professional goals.
